nazi-ville

Why is it imperative for this city to keep promoting that citizens report citizens??

The City will send out inspectors 18 hours a day to enforce Stage 3 restrictions and respond to complaints. Residents may report violations by calling 972-744-4111, visiting www.cor.net or using the MyRichardson mobile app, available for Apple and Android devices.

Reporting Water Abuse

Residents are encouraged to report violations via the MyRichardson mobile application, online at www.cor.net, or by calling 972-744-4111.

I realize water conservation is serious but it seems caustic when every time you turn the page this city is asking its citizens to report each other.  Should we be concerned??

  1. You bet we should be concerned. When a government pits it's citizens against one another. Do not condone citizens breaking the law or citizens turning a blind eye when criminal activity runs rampant in our town. I have been a proud citizen in Richardson since 1959. Have seen an enormouse amount of growth. Some welcomed and some not so welcomed.
Who dropped the ball on our water system growth? I know it's the supplier the city contracts through but who remembers just a very short time ago when we had an over abundance of water, the Blue notices all water customers received notifying us that we had not consumed enough water that the city had contracted to use . That's right we all had to pay extra on our water bill until the dollars, not the water consumption was met. Again who's dropping the ball. I cannot operate my business that way. If I even attempted this sort of incompetence I would be out of business in a short amount of time. But yet hear we go again.
